New Identity!

Just too let you know I now have a new shop name 13Alternatives and I've changed my avatar and blog title. I'm beginning to feel like Mr Ripely, taking on a new life, but without the murder and mayhem! A big thanks to my lovely daughter Heather for her photoshop skills and a thank you to Wladyslaw Theodor Benda for the fabulous lady. He was an amazing fashion illustrator 1873 -1948 who also created masks and costumes.

Photo redo

I decided to re-do my photos of my new stuff, they weren't working on the plain backgrounds. Just can't do an etsy look to save my life.
Little ceramic hands from http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheCraftyBead

The lovely Petra's handcrafted tiki http://www.etsy.com/shop/JewelIdentity

Belt buckle bezel idea shamelessly nicked from fancifuldevices http://www.etsy.com/shop/fancifuldevices

The belt buckle was dug up out the ground, so patina by nature!
Big ceramic beads from Rob Johnson, from Cambridge http://www.etsy.com/shop/pebbledreams
Milagros from http://www.etsy.com/shop/Santit0s

Feather from the Crafty Bead, all other beads are vintage finds and ebay finds.

More vintage finds in this one.

Quick up date

We all love give aways so pop over to http://anvilartifacts.blogspot.com/2012/01/cuatro-quatre-four.html whose got some lovely earrings up for grabs.
I will also be doing a give away very soon and this will be coinciding with my name change to 13 Jewels, so keep your eyes peeled ( this is an english expression for looking out, not some hideous sado masochistic experiment). I say this because I once mentioned in my lovely time travelers forum that I was "well chuffed" and nobody knew what I was talking about (an all too familiar thing for me), so to clarify it means very pleased.

Coming soon

So you can't go far wrong in life if you keep your eyes peeled and stay well chuffed.

Back on Track

I had the flu bug from hell over the last couple of weeks, hence the lack of blogging. Spent most of the time in the smallest room of my home! Or, has my brother quaintly put it visiting the blue goldfish.
Well I'm now ready to pick up again, starting with the Christmas presents I made.

The tattoo bag was for my daughter and the leather skull clutch was for my niece.

This little necklace was for my other niece

This steampunk gothic bag was for my best friend and the spiderman messenger for my daughter's fiance

So that lot kept me busy!
As for myself I treated myself to a necklace from HappyFallout http://www.etsy.com/shop/HappyFallout

Nobody buys me jewellery anymore for fear that I'll take it apart!

Finally I've been getting round to making new stuff at last

The lovely handmade focal pendant is from the very talented Petra http://www.etsy.com/shop/JewelIdentity

Phew I'm exhausted after that!
